In Memory of Bill Simon

Bill SimonCPRF and our affiliate organizations BTCO, Inc. and Center Industries Corporation are deeply saddened by the death of Bill Simon. Bill served on our shared Board of Directors for eight years, but his service for people with disabilities began long before his Board appointment.

Bill had personally donated to CPRF since 1990 and provided financial contributions through his companies since 1998. He was the first Chairperson of the CPRF Annual Fund Advisory Council, hosted each of our River City Roll fundraisers, and even served several months as Center Industries Corporation’s Interim President.

Bill’s leadership, coupled with his insight into the nonprofit world, made him an invaluable member of our Board of Directors. Through his continuous support of CPRF, CIC, and BTCO, Bill shared his passion to make Wichita a quality place for people with disabilities to live and work.

“Bill was an exceptionally caring and generous member of the board who truly understood our mission. He gave freely of his time, resources, and advice, all of which were extremely valuable, given his business acumen,” said Patrick Jonas, CPRF CEO. “We will miss him greatly and will keep his wife Sally and his family in our prayers.”

Our hearts go out to Bill’s family and friends. He will be missed.
