  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

Perform job readiness/preparation, job development, employer outreach, job placement, and follow-up activities for individuals with all types of disabilities. This position plays a key role in developing employer partnerships and expanding work-based opportunities through active business engagement, relationship building, and promotion of organizational services to the community.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform client case management, identifying and referring clients to needed resources, while maintaining accurate and timely case note documentation in appropriate systems to ensure up-to-date case files for each client.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop employer partnerships that provide job tours, work experiences, job tryouts, work-based learning opportunities, and direct hire placements for clients.
  • Conduct active employer outreach through in-person visits, phone contact, email communication, networking events, and community engagement to expand employment opportunities.
  • Present organizational services confidently and professionally to employers, explaining the value of partnership and addressing employer questions regarding work experiences, accommodations, and hiring support.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with employers, workforce partners, schools, vocational rehabilitation staff, and community organizations.
  • Conduct outreach activities to recruit potential clients and employers, complete eligibility documentation, and explain program details.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet research, digital documentation systems, and other technology used for reporting and communication.
  • Maintain strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills while managing multiple priorities.
  • Apply intermediate to advanced knowledge of disabilities, workplace supports, and accommodations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, human resources, education, marketing, communications, social services, or a closely related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Sales, business development, recruiting, staffing, workforce development, or employer relations experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage new contacts, build rapport quickly, and professionally represent the organization.
  • Candidate should demonstrate confidence initiating conversations, presenting services, networking with business leaders, and developing new employer relationships.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple locations including high schools, vocational rehabilitation offices, Workforce Centers, employer sites, and networking meetings.
