CPRF Winner: Krista Ward

Krista is truly a multi-department extraordinaire. Her role has expanded rapidly—from working as the CEO’s part-time Executive Assistant to becoming full-time and helping refine processes and data entry for Case Management, Transportation, the Equipment Fund, and the Wheelchair Clinic. She takes on every new task with grace, patience, and a constant willingness to learn, and she consistently elevates the work of every team she supports.

Krista is a coworker who communicates well, suggests thoughtful ideas to leadership, and is always considerate of others’ time. She regularly goes above and beyond for the multiple departments she supports by representing CPRF at United Way events, doing Equipment Fund outreach on her own time, assisting with file digitizing, getting trained so she can support TCM client admissions, assisting leadership in drafting active shooter policy, learning transportation processes to assist with grant applications, training new staff, doing post-calls, and developing a claim denial tracker to support therapists.

Krista shows kindness through her hospitality and volunteerism, helping decorate and implement Timbers Fest, recruiting friends and family to volunteer, and lending an extra hand at events like the Timber’s Cookies & Coats and Thanksgiving meal. Krista is a positive, funny, and reliable She brightens people’s days—whether she’s sharing duck eggs with her co-workers or dropping by their office with a joke.

She also serves people with disabilities by approaching every event with accessibility in mind and including Timbers residents in activities, such as inviting them to help decorate for Milk & Cookies with Santa. Through her client work and extensive administrative support, she continually strengthens CPRF so staff have the systems they need to serve clients well.

Congrats, Krista! The CPRF team is lucky to have you.

BTCO, Inc. Winner: Daylee Scaglione

Daylee was nominated by two of her coworkers, who shared how consistently she brings positivity, reliability, and kindness to the workplace.

“Daylee shows up every day with a smile,” one nominator wrote, noting that she is always ready to work and help wherever she can. Coworkers describe her as efficient, dependable, and easy to talk to. Someone who makes the workday smoother and the team stronger.

She is also known for stepping up beyond her role, especially when help is needed outside of BTCO’s plot center. According to her nominators, she is often the first one out the door to support others, and her encouragement is constant. No matter how busy things get, she reminds her team, “We got this.”

Her dedication to serving others extends well beyond the workplace. Daylee donates to CPRF causes and is a regular volunteer at Timbers Fest, an annual appreciation event for residents at The Timbers with games, food, and fun. She also supports people with disabilities in her personal life by volunteering at her sister’s school each month to help prepare classrooms for other students with disabilities.

Daylee’s compassion reaches even further into the community through her volunteer work at local cancer centers, where she brings children stuffed animals and coloring supplies and offers parents comfort during difficult times.

“It’s the kindness in her that makes me think she is the best choice for this award,” another nominator shared.

Congrats, Daylee! Your steady support, willingness to step in wherever needed, and genuine care for others are felt every day—at BTCO and throughout your community.
