  • Salary: $80,000-90,000 / year
  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

CPRF is recruiting a physical therapist who is mechanically minded and has experience in or is interested in learning wheelchair fitting and posture seating.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs Physical Therapy evaluations, treatment, and writes appropriate plans of care for individual patients.
  • Supervise final fittings of posture seating systems.
  • Document client activity in appropriate files.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor or Director.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
  • Typical Physical Demands: Must assist clients with transfers, knowledge of use of mechanical lifts. Bending and lifting is often required.  Operating computers, copier, fax machine, and telephone requires manual dexterity. Normal range of hearing and vision required.
  • Typical Mental Demands: Must be able to organize time to meet job’s demands. Must handle diverse work problems daily. This role demands new techniques and methods on a routine basis.  Personal maturity and sensitivity are essential attributes.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment and engineering shop.

Job Requirements:

  • Appropriate entry level Physical Therapy degree. State license in PT required.
  • One to two years experience with a variety of physical disabilities/diagnoses.
  • Experience with positioning and posture seating.
