Robert R. "Bob" Hull
Research Division vice president
Robert R. “Bob” Hull became vice president for research at the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation of Kansas, Inc., July 1998. As such, he guides CPRF in developing its interdisciplinary research program, helping to select and develop research projects which contribute to the training, employment and financial self-sufficiency of people with disabilities. He has won grants and managed research projects from the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Social Security Administration, the IRS, the U.S. Treasury Department Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Prior to his service at CPRF, Hull was an information specialist in the Wichita State University Office of Research Administration. There, he participated in successful research proposals to the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Kansas Department of Commerce and Housing. He previously served as assistant to the Center for Earth and Environmental Science director at the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, N.Y., where he participated as research associate on an extensive study of the Adirondack Park Agency. In 1996, Hull co-founded and is the former president of the Kansas Professional Grant Association, which includes in its membership both grant-writers in a wide variety of organizations and grant-evaluators at charitable foundations throughout the state.

William G. Mickel
Benefits specialist & financial planner
In September 2004, William Mickel joined the Research Division team, bringing with him a diverse legal and accounting background. His history includes tax preparation, accounting, and financial planning assistance for numerous individuals and small business clients while employed by a Wichita public accounting firm for about eight years. Before that, Mickel performed tax and legal research for accounting and law firms in Topeka, Kan., as well as being a research assistant to a Washburn University law professor.
