What information does CPRF collect?
To maximize the benefits provided by this site, we invite you to share information about your self through our User Survey, which is linked directly to our home page. Without this information, you would be anonymous to us and it would limit our ability to provide the most useful services to you and our other supporters. CPRF takes seriously its responsibility to respect your personal privacy. At our site, we do not collect personally identifiable information unless you provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. This means we do not require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. Beyond the User Survey, we offer the option of making tax-deductible donations to CPRF with a credit card and will collect the information needed to make those transactions through a secure-server, service provider named Entango.
Is credit card information secure?
When you choose to make an on-line donation to CPRF, the credit card billing information, including the name on the donor's card, billing address, and expiration date, is used to process the donation. All this information is encrypted using SSL, industry standard secure technology through the Entango.com service. This encryption is designed to prevent theft or interception of the information. Unlike retailers, who commonly keep complete credit card numbers in case there is a billing dispute, Entango stores only encrypted versions of your credit card numbers. Making a donation to CPRF online will not open your credit card information to dissemination. Your personal information will not be disclosed, sold, traded, rented, or otherwise revealed to third parties, including advertisers or marketers. This information is only used to process the donation. Contributions may also be made by phone, by mail and through a gift of stock. More information on this can be found in Ways to Give.
Can I decide not to provide personal information?
Yes. Provisions of the information described above are strictly voluntary. Although we hope most users of the site will participate in the User Survey, it is your choice to do so and access to the site is not dependent on providing the information.
How is my personal information used?
The information you provide to CPRF through the User Survey, including any information and views included in the comments section, will be used to learn more about the community we serve, to provide individual users access to information, products and services that best fit their interests and needs and to have a way of contacting you in the future regarding the activities and services of CPRF and its many affiliates. If after providing this information to us, you later decide you no longer wish to be contacted regarding CPRF services and activities, you can simply contact us by email and stop the use of your personal information in this manner.
Will personal information be given to third parties?
No.
Aggregate survey information
CPRF will protect any personal information you provide as described above; however, CPRF reserves the right to use aggregated, anonymous data about our users as a group. This data does not contain any personally, identifiable information. For instance, we might report to current or potential partners or investors that a certain percentage of our users live in a specific geographic area, or represent certain types of disabilities or have certain interests. This type of survey information is intended to allow a more targeted selection of benefits and opportunities for our users as a group.
Does CPRF use “cookies?”
“Cookies” are small text files a web site can use to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Cookies are not programs that come onto a visitor’s system and damage files. Currently, CPRF does not use “cookie” technology.
Child visitors
CPRF welcomes the opportunity to enrich children’s awareness to people with disabilities and the opportunities available for training and employment for life-long personal enrichment. However, we encourage children to obtain parental permission before providing any information about themselves to CPRF, or any other web site entity.

The information on this site is provided “as is” for general information only. CPRF may provide links on the web site to other sites that are not under the control of CPRF. These links are provided for convenience of reference only and are not intended as an endorsement by CPRF or the organization or individual operating the web site or a warranty of any type regarding the web site or the information on the web site.
